The third day of July of 2013

Happy 25 benyi.
Stay healthy and happy.

You know, getting older is unavoidable. But there is an option on how we do it. Let's menua in a cool way despite the fact that we live in a shitty shitty world haha xx

Just remember a great quote from grandpa John Lennon hehe ' count your age by friends not years, count your life by smiles, not tears'.

ps: wait for me, I'm coming home soon :D

our parents

I involved in a conversation with a Chinese student whom I just met the other day and the conversation was pretty much like this:

X: What do you think about our country? What stereotype that you know about us?
Tassa: hmmm that you are just everywhere haha (okay I admit it that I was being too straightforward hhe)
X: Well that's true.
Tassa: Haha yeah, and I am wondering why there are so many Chinese study abroad, especially here in UK?
X: In China, parents put a lot of efforts to give the best -in term of education, life etc-  to their children as they only have one child in the family. This is because the one child policy that being imposed in our country, so basically as parents only have descendant, they tend to give everything they have to their offspring.

Well that's a quite interesting discussion, isn't it? But I must disagree with him as I strongly believe that it's not only in China that parents sacrifice everything for their children's benefit. It applies to every parent around the world indeed. Parents will do anything and everything, for their children's interest. That's just they way they are. That's what makes them ah-mah-zing ;p

 Love your parents folks!

note:
This writing is for my dad who just had his birthday this month, on 3 February. Happy birthday pah :)

Happy new year 2013

7 Seven things I did in the New year's eve 2013:

1.Walked for miles, circling around central London to get to London eye.

2. Stood (i repeat, STOOD and NEVER even for a second had a chance to sit) for 7 awesome-delightful-yet-tiring hours at London eye.

3. Danced like i never danced before. I succeed to apply 'Goyang kepala ala changcuters' the whole night. My friend said that it becomes my trademark. Oh please.

4. Saw a gay couple kissed. And they're both good-looking. And they're both cute. And they're both just adorable. Gosh why??

5. Managed to escape from a possibility of getting an undesirable hug from a random drunk guy -__-

6. Stunned and in awe by the magnificent 11 mins fireworks show.

7. Made friends with two local old yet super fun folksTurns out getting older does not stop you from being crazy. hha

At the end of the night, i realised that the very first day of this new year marks the ending of my happy jolly times. The reality called exam is coming. As John Lennon once said "The dream is over and so dear friends, you just have to carry on". Happy new year everyone :D
